Safety at Somerset Surgery Covid 19
Somerset Surgery and all its subsidiary’s (Day Hospital, MASC laser Clinic, Recovery Retreat and Dr Toogood’s consulting rooms) are taking precautions in our public areas during the Covid-19 pandemic. We are sanitizing each person’s hands upon entering our premises as well as washing our own regularly for 30 seconds at a time. We have become a no-handshake, no-hug zone. As per standard practice we wipe down surfaces with disinfectant after human contact/a procedure is performed. Somerset Surgery’s Day Hospital prevention of cross-infection protocols are beyond reproach and we have not had a single report of hospital acquired post-operative infection.
We kindly request that you inform us in advance of any health compromise that you may be aware of, which includes any international travel in the past 14 days. Please inform us immediately if you suspect that you may have been exposed to someone potentially infected or if you are busy with or/ anticipating a self-isolation period as we will need to reschedule your appointment.
Somerset Surgery cares and we are doing whatever we can to protect our community while we attend to your elective surgery and aesthetic needs.
